I have no idea how to pronounce her name, but I’m diggin this track! Synth soul goodness from yet ANOTHER fresh artist based out of Amsterdam. Got an email from the good people at Melting Pot Music, and went right to the shop to buy this digital single.

My man Gerald Watson sent me the first single to this remix project almost A YEAR ago, and it took me about 4 months to actually listen to it (I’m guilty of that quite often). I did some youtube diggin and found this really interesting video describing this project, which strived to examine the essence of the jazz music and wu tang clan songs that are involved. I’m enjoying everything about this project, from the posters to the videos.
I stumbled on this LP a few weeks back at my local record shop in Long Beach, and was delightfully surprised! These dudes are very young, all 22 and younger, based out of Amsterdam. Check out this video, which pretty much sums them up better than I can. If you love afrobeat music, this record, which is, in essence, a one-take studio session, will make you bug out. I’ve been reccomending this to everyone I know. Enjoy!
